I converted a PC-supply into 13.8V/15A as described , works great - I use it with my
IC-706MkIIG for over 1 year now, the temperature controlled fan is hardly ever needed , so I let the airflow cool down the side of the ICOM , hi.

Dear Friend,
I came upon your site through Google. I am looking for a QRP CW Transceiver for 80 meters. I was going to proofread your English for you, but it is getting too late for that tonight. Your English, by the way, is very respectable.

Is there much CW activity on 80 meters in Germany?

What I would like to see would be the following:

An 80 meter CW transceiver with sidetone, VFO on transmit and receive, and about a watt of output power. VFO meaning I could turn the dial and move to a different frequency. I am not looking for split freq capability. It would be nice to have the capability to zero beat another station. 80 meters is so incredibly quiet compared to 40 meters. I have not put up an antenna for 160 meters, but that would be fun.

I must go donate blood tomorrow. I best get some rest. I was contacted by the Red Cross. A patient needs my lack of specific antigens, so I will donate via apherisis.

Great Web Site.

73,
Bob WB5EMX

I have just built the Warbler Kit from the New Jersey QRP society. WWW.NJQRP.org. It runs PS-31 on 80 meters. I am 4 transistors and case mounting away from being on the air with that.

I enjoyed the different design and parts of these circuits. The circuits seem to me, to be well thought out.
